EDITORIAL USE

William Burt’s 35 years of photography provides unique and extensive coverage in three primary categories:
  1. rare and elusive birds (rails, bitterns, nightjars, certain sparrows, certain warblers, other marsh birds, etc.);
  2. wetlands (their specialized birds, flora, scenes, close and lyric detail); and
  3. other wild and pristine places (with particularly emphasis on the Northern Plains, New England, and the Connecticut River).

His photographs are used primarily in concert with his own articles, books, and museum exhibitions, but most are available for editorial use as well.
