PRINTS FOR PURCHASE: All photographs by William Burt are available as fine archival prints of virtually any standard size, as priced below. All are made by the photographer. All prints larger than 8x10 are of the ‘archival pigment ink-jet’ type (estimated display life: 75+ years); and those smaller are ‘Fujix’ prints (30-40 years). These prices include shipping. To order, or to ask questions, please contact William Burt by phone (860-434-8173) or by e-mail:
About the Prints: The small prints offered (up to 8x10) are elegant, long-lasting ‘Fujix’ prints with a subdued gloss, made by the so-called ‘Pictrography’ thermal image transfer process. Images are floated on 9x12 white sheets. Estimated print display life: 30–40 years. All larger prints are of the ‘archival pigment’ ink-jet type, made with Epson ‘Ultra-Chrome’ inks and ‘Semi-Matte’ paper, and are identical to those exhibited by William Burt. Prints of this process are richly colored, exquisitely detailed and subtly toned, and remarkably long-lived as well: in all, the finest this photographer and printer has ever seen. Estimated display life: 75 years minimum. |
